Elemental Bending (Spell Casting), Imbuing (Item Enchantment), Material De-Construction and Re-Construction (Transmutation) can all be achieved with the use of Alchemy.

How is Alchemy Performed?
Alchemy is performed by Aligning Oneself with either Individual or Multiple Elements of Creation at a time.
These Elements being: Air, Fire, Earth and Water.

The Next Step is to Set Forth an Intention, or to Hold Focus on the Desired Outcome.

Ultimately, each of these have a distinct natural advantage over each other, providing a Natural Ease to Create Elemental Harmony.
Of course, too much of anything can destroy the other; Enough Air can put out Fire, Enough Earth can soak up Water, etc. But in the same process, would destroy itself. Each Element, although independent and fierce on its own, depends on the other Elements for it's own Survival and Thrival.
